Yes, I’m an Orioles and Giants fan (BLACKandORANGE) – dad was from Maryland, raised in Sacramento, CA, but I have to say Jim Tracy is BLOWING IT when it comes to Garrett Atkins. To come into Atkins backyard (raised in Orange County) and sit him on the bench is outright stupidity.  You have to feel for the guy in the 9th coming off an ICE COLD bench and striking out.  Seth Smith had a good game yesterday, so what, Atkins hit twon dingers and went back to the bench the next day.  Tracy totally pushed Atkins face in the mud, rubbed it in, then stepped on it.  No excuse.  Tracy is back in California and back doing his crummy managerial job.  You can’t always run the ship from your gut, sometimes you have to DO THE RIGHT THING.  You lost bonus points Tracy with me, you showed me that your tenure is on the down-swing and it will only be time before your Rockies are back in their cellar ways.
